White Label SaaS: How It Works, What It Costs and What to Resell

The short version
  • In white label SaaS the vendor runs the software and the reseller owns the brand, the price and the customer. The end client sees only the reseller.
  • Vendors charge in four main ways: a flat platform fee, a fee per client account, a share of the reseller's revenue, or usage passed through at cost or with a markup. Most real plans mix two of them.
  • Prices for the same idea vary widely. Stammer.ai lists a Pro White Label plan at $99 a month, Convocore White Label is $199 for 20 clients, and GoHighLevel lists SaaS Mode on its $497 Agency Pro plan 2,4,1. Botpress removes widget branding on Plus at $150, which is not full white label 3.
  • The questions that decide the deal are whether your domain and logo replace the vendor's everywhere, whether each client gets a separate workspace, whether you bill clients yourself, and whether the vendor takes a share.
  • AI agents resell well because the setup work, not the software, is what clients pay for, and most small firms have not adopted AI yet 5.

White label SaaS is software one company builds and another company sells under its own name. The reseller sets the price, owns the customer and never mentions the vendor. This page explains how the model works, the four ways vendors charge for it, what to check before you sign, and why AI agents are one of the easier products to resell this way. Convocore sells a white label AI agent platform, so we label our own figures.

What white label SaaS means

A white label product is made by one company and sold by another as its own. In software the vendor hosts and maintains the application, and the reseller puts its own name, logo, colors and web address on it. The reseller's customers sign in at the reseller's domain, get invoices from the reseller and call the reseller for help.

That differs from an affiliate or referral program, where the customer buys from the vendor and the partner earns a commission. It also differs from building your own product: you do not write or host the software, so you can launch in days, but you depend on a vendor you do not control.

Agencies are the usual buyers. A marketing or web agency that already serves local businesses adds a software line it can bill monthly, which turns one-off projects into recurring revenue.

The four ways vendors charge

Read any white label price page and it will use one or more of these models. Which one you are on decides how your margin behaves as you grow.

Stammer.ai Pro White Label$99

Convocore White Label$199

GoHighLevel Agency Pro$497

List prices as shown on 25 October 2026. Scope differs between plans, so read the note on each bar.

  • Flat platform fee. One monthly price for the white label tier, often with a cap on client accounts. Cheap per client once you fill the cap, expensive while you have two clients.
  • Per client account. A fee for each sub-account you open. Easy to pass through to clients, but your cost grows in step with your revenue.
  • Revenue share. The vendor takes a percentage of what you bill. Low entry cost, but the share never goes away and it grows with your best clients.
  • Usage. Minutes, messages or AI credits, passed through at cost or with a markup you set. Common for AI and telephony, where the vendor's own costs are per use.

What to check before you sign

Most disappointment with white label software comes from finding the vendor's name somewhere the client can see it. Check each of these in a trial account, not on the sales page.

  • Your domain on the client login and dashboard. A vendor subdomain tells the client whose software it is.
  • Your logo, colors and emails. System emails and password resets are where vendor branding usually leaks.
  • A separate workspace per client. Clients must never see each other's data, and you need to switch between them quickly.
  • You bill the client directly. If the vendor invoices your client, you do not own the customer.
  • Flat pricing. A percentage of your billing grows with your best clients forever.
  • Usage you can mark up. AI and phone usage is a real cost, and you need to pass it on with a margin.
  • Export and exit. If you leave, check you can take agents, data and phone numbers with you.

Why AI agents suit the white label model

The software is only half of an AI agent. The other half is writing the knowledge base, connecting the calendar and CRM, testing calls and fixing wrong answers. Small businesses will pay someone to do that, and that someone does not need to have built the platform.

There is also room to sell. The Census Bureau found 18% of US firms used AI in a business function in late 2025 and early 2026 5. Most owners will need a demonstration before they buy, which favors an agency they already know over a software vendor they do not.

Running costs are published, so pricing is a sum you can do. A US local number on Twilio is $1.15 a month and inbound calls are $0.0085 a minute 6, and card fees on your own invoices are 2.9% plus 30 cents 7.

Keep promises small and measurable. The US Federal Trade Commission has already acted against companies that overstated what their AI could do 8.

How Convocore's white label works

Convocore White Label is $199 a month, or $133 a month billed annually, for 20 client sub-accounts with unlimited agents, voice and every chat channel. Elite is $349 a month with unlimited sub-accounts and client self-signup 4.

You connect your own domain, set your logo and colors, and give each client a workspace of their own. You bill clients yourself and Convocore takes no share of what you charge. Usage is billed to you, and you choose what to charge clients for it.

What the evidence does not show

  • We found no independent survey of white label SaaS pricing or reseller margins, so this page compares list prices only.
  • List prices change often and do not show discounts, usage fees or limits that only appear in a trial account.
  • The break-even figures are our arithmetic on Convocore's own price and leave out usage, your time and card fees.

Choosing a white label SaaS to resell

Pick the product your clients already ask about, then check the vendor in a trial: your domain everywhere, a workspace per client, your own billing and flat pricing. Price your first two or three clients by hand before you fix a price list.

If AI agents are that product, Convocore's free plan lets you build and test before you pay. White Label is $199 a month for 20 clients with flat pricing.

Questions

What is white label SaaS?

Software that one company builds and hosts and another company sells under its own brand. The reseller sets the price, bills the customer and handles support, and the customer never sees the vendor.

What is white label AI SaaS?

White label SaaS where the product is AI, such as chatbots and voice agents. The vendor runs the AI platform; you sell it under your brand, set up an agent for each client and charge a monthly fee. Convocore is a white label AI SaaS for AI voice and chat agents.

What is white label SaaS software?

The software itself in a white label deal: a hosted app the vendor maintains, which you rebrand with your logo and domain and resell to your own customers as your product.

How is white label SaaS different from an affiliate program?

An affiliate sends the customer to the vendor and earns a commission. A white label reseller owns the customer: the login, the invoice and the relationship are all in the reseller's name.

How much does white label SaaS cost?

It depends on the vendor and the model. As listed on 25 October 2026, Stammer.ai Pro White Label was $99 a month, Convocore White Label $199 for 20 clients and GoHighLevel Agency Pro, which includes SaaS Mode, $497. Check usage fees and client limits as well as the headline price.

What is the best white label SaaS to resell?

The one your existing clients already need. For agencies serving local businesses, AI chat and voice agents are a strong fit because clients pay for setup and upkeep as much as for software.

Does Convocore take a share of what I charge?

No. Convocore charges a flat platform fee plus usage on both white label plans, and you keep everything you bill your clients.
